N が + あります / います

“あります arimasu ”

     is indicates the presence of a thing.

“ある aru ” is dictionary form ＆ implified form.

 

The “N” stands for something that exists, a living thing, and is followed by “が ga“.

れい ぞう こ

冷蔵庫にイチゴがある。

rei zouko ni ichigo ga  a ru

There are strawberries in the fridge.

れい ぞう こ

冷蔵庫にイチゴがあります。

rei zouko ni ichigo ga  a ri ma su

There are strawberries in the refrigerator.

ケーキは冷蔵庫にあります。

ca ki     wa reizouko  ni a ri ma su

The president is present.

ロビーにいます。
