かん じ

漢字kanjiChinese characters) are ideographic characters that originated in the Yellow River civilization of ancient China.

Writing tools, the medium in which they are written, the speed at which they are written, the way they are written, and other factors can change the style of a character. When these stylistic differences extend to the entire writing system, they are referred to as “typefaces. Currently, there are five styles of Chinese characters in use: seal script, clerical script, cursive script, running script, and standard script.

Semi-cursive script

A typeface that is easy to read while being suitable for quick strokes, with continuous and omitted point strokes.

Cursive script

Seal script

It is not a single typeface, but a general term for ancient typefaces from BC for a long time.

隷 書 reisyo

Clerical script

A simplified version of Ten-Shiyo (seal script), which was widely used in the Han Dynasty. It was widely used in the Han Dynasty. Later, block style was developed from slave-style calligraphy.
