握り寿司 "Nigirizushi " Hand-rolled sushi

Sushi made by holding vinegared rice in small chunks and placing ingredients such as seafood on top of it. It is said that the skill of nigiri is the highlight of the skill of sushi chefs. It is one of the most popular shapes.

How to serve
It depends on the ordering method and seat.

  • “Rule” is a so-called set menu, and customers select from “normal”, “top”, “special”, or “pine”, “bamboo”, “ume”, etc.
  • “Omakase” provides a serving that the shop owner confidently selects from the seeds that are in stock on the day.
  • “Preference” is a style in which you declare the seeds you want to eat and have them hold them each time. In principle, you can order two pieces at a time. The same applies to conveyor belt sushi.

軍艦巻き "Gunkanmaki" Battleship roll

Gunkanmaki is sushi made by wrapping vinegared rice with seaweed and placing sushi seeds on top of it. It was named because its appearance resembles a warship. It is characterized by being able to provide small, easily deformed items such as salmon roe, sea urchin, whitefish, negitoro, and tobiko.

押し寿司 "Oshizushi" Pressed sushi

Oshizushi is sushi made by layering ingredients on top of vinegared rice and pressing it as it is.

There are types such as mackerel, Thai, and salmon. In addition, there are also pressed sushi and sushi made with cherry salmon, which is a type of trout.

A type of sushi in which sweet and spicy fried tofu is stuffed with vinegared rice. It is also called Oinari-san”, “Oinari”, or “Inari”.

手巻き寿司 "Temakizushi" hand-rolled sushi, usually cone-shaped

Sushi made by wrapping rice and ingredients with seaweed by hand without using a makisu.
