Formations

verb + ます masu

ます masu :

1 As a polite word, pay homage to the listener.
2 As a humble word, show respect for the person to whom the action extends.

しゃっきん

借金 が あります。

syakkin ga  arimasu

I am in debt.

とうきょうえき         い

東京駅 に 行きます。

tokyou eki ni i ki masu

 I’m going to Tokyo station.

1,300 円 あります。

sensanbyakuenarimasu

 There’s 1,300yen.
